Our goal is simple...keep the real country
experience alive every night of the week. No strip malls, no goofy
gimmicks. We take pride in the fact that we are one of Northern
California's last real honky tonks. You know you're a real honky
tonk when the juke box says "No rap, no refunds."
We want our patrons feel
comfortable in a clean, country setting...and pour them a great drink.
From fat boy cowhide seats to bull horns to pictures of
Lane Frost riding Red Rock...we want you to feel at home. We've
got hitching posts for the horses and parking lots for the hogs.
All are welcome.
In our original location, The Wrangler was first open in the 60's and is
the kind of place that fits like an old boot. Our drinks are named
after friends, family and the various hobbies of our patrons.
Relics from old farming families, businesses and past sports stars from
the Elk Grove area line the walls of one of the original
stage stops in Elk Grove.
